Monday Musings

The weather has been Spring like, Christmas day was beautifully balmy at 76.  Philadelphia is setting heat records. Ironically we seen more rain than sun though. This whole el nino weather pattern is quite interesting!  And then today the cold moved in bringing with it freezing rain.

Started off with lots of errands and last minute gifts early in the week.  Mid week was spent in the kitchen cooking Christmas Eve dinner, including dessert.  I enjoy cooking and actually find it rather relaxing. Though not so much the clean up.  ;)

Christmas eve was filled with surprise.  Right before we were suppose to leave to head to my family's house, just as I was setting up the tripod to take a photo of us in front of the tree....the man told me he had a gift and handed me a small box with bow.  When I opened it to find a ring he proceeded to say some lovey things, got down on his knee and proposed.

Honestly it happened so quickly, at such an odd moment that he caught me off guard.  Not sure even what he said other than he loves me so much.  Kind of wish we could rewind the moment!

He said he wasn't sure when he was going to propose but he decided that it was a good day since we were seeing family. And they would want to share in it too.  While I was imaging a more romantic beach proposal it fits the man's style, he even usually waits until last minute as well.  Needless to say Christmas eve had a special feel to it.  Not only did we get engaged but the weather was recording breaking heat and it was a full moon which it hasn't been for the holidays since 1977.  I was born on a full moon so it all makes complete sense. ; )

Christmas was more quiet.  The man stayed home so we were able to spend the holiday together.  My parents stopped by later in the morning so we could exchange gifts and they stayed for lunch.  Then the man and I spent the afternoon watching tiny house nation, with a nap thrown in as well.  We made a large roasted chicken for dinner.  And spent the evening watching SOA as the man taxed his stomach due to the richness of the holiday food so he wasn't feeling all that well.  haha

The weekend involved catching up on stuff, opening a few left over gifts, watching some football and pondering being engaged.

Today I took the tree down, even put it outside as it was beginning to shed too much.  Not even sure how I managed to get the tree outside as its bigger than me.  Then got involved in cleaning the kitchen a job that next to bathrooms I'm not fond of. Given the holidays the man is able to work from home all week, though guessing there won't be as much work going on as there will be tv watching.  ; )

Holiday Emotions

Not sure what it is about the holidays but they always seem to bring on their own set of emotions from joy to sadness. Even Christmas songs can induce such a range of feelings.  Maybe it's because it's a holiday with such deeper meaning.

Feelings of love, magic and wonder fill the air.  As well as a hope for miracles and faith in what we cannot see.

Plus with a new year quickly approaching think many begin to review their lives as well.

This year have more on my mind, in turn feel overwhelmed by emotions.  Some health stuff has popped up that has me feeling concerned and distracted from the normal festive feeling of the holiday.  The apprehensive feeling is taking away some of the joy normally felt during the holiday season.  It's been an unusual Christmas between the weather and house issues.  Haven't even decorated the house like we normally would.

The holidays sometimes also bring on a sense of excited anticipation that can be a let down when something doesn't go as we expect or hope.  Never been like that with gifts per say until meeting the man.  Usually I'm happy to receive any kind of gift, especially the small thoughtful ones. But with the man there would be things I started dreaming he would surprise me with, only to be let down when those things didn't happen.

It was not a feeling I was used to, in fact it took away from the festive holiday feelings. It's different I suppose with people we care about as think there is a part of all of us that hopes the special people in our lives give us something meaningful.  Learned it's often times better to try not to have expectations.  More important to focus on the real meaning of the holiday than get caught up in the gifts.  Plus there really is more fun in giving then receiving anyway.

Of course when the Christmas songs come on the radio though the nostalgic feelings always surface. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas always brings on the tears.  Thinking back to the childhood days when Christmas seemed so incredibly magic.  Spending it with family, especially extended family was something we all took for granted.  If only all those we shared our Christmases with back then were here to celebrate with us still.

Hard to even believe this will be the second Christmas without our little Westie Angel.  The emotions of the holidays can feel so raw.  While appreciating those here with us it's hard not to miss those who are not.  What's holidays or even life without those we love to share it with.  That's what makes it so special.

The feelings of the holiday season truly are unlike any other. We must feel them all, yet also find a way to rejoice in the true meaning of the holiday.  Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts.  It's about giving, dreaming, hoping and believing.

Monday Musings

The weather is up and down balmy one week and cold the next.  For the holidays it appears balmy is making it's way back as they are saying temperatures could once again be in the record setting 70's.  Dare I say that's almost perfect weather!

The week was filled with holiday stuff, especially shopping.  Though the man and I decided not to exchange gifts instead opting to buy stuff for the house instead, I bought him a few things any way.  It's hard to resist wanting to buy something for that special someone at the holidays.  :)

Though haven't felt as creative when it comes to the gift ideas as some seasons.  Think there's just been too much going on to properly focus, and feeling rather scattered.  In fact upon waking at night it's hard to get back to sleep as I start thinking too much.  The worst is when we worry about stuff that we know is out of our control, yet not having easy or quick resolutions can feel overwhelming.

I envy the man as rarely does he stress about stuff.  Sometimes it feels like I take on all the stress for both of us. Trying very hard to change that bad habit by reminding myself to try to let go of those things we cannot change, or at least change how I think about them.  So much easier said than done.

For a few days we noticed what we thought was a bump of some sort on Cooper's head above his eye, when it began looking like a hanging skin tag of some sort started googling images. Googling led to panic as I realized it was an embedded tick!  Quickly took him to the vet who confirmed it and luckily they were able to remove it.  But since the tick was so engorged and had probably been feeding for a few days there is a risk of lyme.  Our poor baby boy.

We have no doubt the rodent infested property of this  house rental contributed to the tick issue.  Yet the owners continue to turn a blind eye pretending that no such issues exist even when experts have been brought in and informed them otherwise. We need the help of one of my favorite shows Fixer Upper, it would be great to have help not only finding a home but fixing it up too.  Love their design style and personalities.

Saturday we went to the Christmas village in Philadelphia.  It is a bunch of temporary shops designed to look like a European village that opens for the holidays.  Followed by dinner afterwards.  Of course the weather was the coldest it's been so made walking a tad cold but it did make it feel more like the holidays.  Not sure the man was exactly psyched to be there but than again aside from watching sports on tv he usually isn't excited about anything that involves leaving the house.

He doesn't realize what a downer he can be at times. The older he gets the more he seems to lose his enthusiasm. Smiling at times seems painful for him. For instance I wanted to take a photo in front of the famous love statue in Philly, all these years of living here yet never got a photo in front of the thing.  But he pretty much vetoes the idea saying only young people do that, jeez I didn't realize life came with age restricted activities as I'm all about fun at any age.  :)

I've also noticed many who can't seem to have fun or let go unless it involves drinking or other substances.  Even at this Christmas village so many people of all ages were walking around with wine or other alcoholic drinks.  It's as if they need some kind of substance to loosen up and be able to have fun.  It's interesting to watch people.

Sunday my mother and I were out shopping by 8 am.  Wanted to get some errands accomplished before the holiday crowds took over. Holiday crowds are okay if you don't need to buy anything but having to stand in long lines is a turn off.  The afternoon was all about relaxing and watching football.  Probably the only time I see the man stress is while watching his sports team he literally cannot relax nor even eat if his teams aren't playing well.  Keep trying to remind him it's only a game but to him it's literally the whole world.

Today also involved a bunch of errands and things to do as well.  Ever notice that people seem so distracted these days and no one seems to follow the basic rules of the road.  They should make it so that no car starts if a phone is on.  Sometimes I wonder was life easier or less stressful before all this technology?  There are pros and cons to everything so it's hard to say.

Meanwhile we have been continuing our Sons of Anarchy marathon to say I'm hooked is an understatement.  Like Oz it's another one of those shows that's easy to get lost in.  Love those type shows as usually my mind usually wanders a million times while watching tv but not when I find a show that actually holds my attention.  And sons does a great job of doing just that!

As for photos here is one from the holiday village at least we were able to fit the tree in a little.  Selfies always seem to appear so different than when others actually take the photo.

Soul Sunday

The holiday season is a perfect opportunity to reflect on life's blessings and seek out ways make life better for the those and the world around us.

Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts. He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree.

Princess is a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix who is a puppy.  Her foster mom say she is a very sweet girl who is friendly with other dogs and people. She loves to run and play, and has enjoyed hikes and romps in backyards, though currently thrives in an apartment setting as she gets four walks daily. She gets excited about new things and is very curious. Like most puppies, she is a Velcro dog, and likes to stick close to her human and canine housemates during both naps and playtime. Princess loves a good chew toy, and busies herself with them throughout the day. She also loves to wrestle and play with her foster brothers. She is very snuggly, though excited, with children, and does well in large crowds of people and with dogs of all kinds. Princess is very much still a puppy, and is learning her house manners. Potential adopters would need to follow up with her housebreaking and crate training. She does well on the leash, even with other dogs, and loves children as well. Princess already knows some commands, such as sit, and is responsive to correction though would benefit from a basic obedience training class.   The perfect forever home for Princess is one that has a doggie companion for her or where someone works from home. She needs someone dedicated to continuing her training. A human sibling of any age would be welcome.  Please lets find her a great home!

Serena is a Labrador Retriever mix who is about 10 months old. Serena is looking for someone that understands her, she is a little shy and nervous in this great big world of ours. Serena does best with adults only in the household, and would benefit from having a yard to run and play in.  She is looking for someone with a big heart and she will return lots of love and puppy kisses in return. Please lets find her a good home!

Jolene is a young Dachshund mix. She recently joined the shelter from an overcrowded southern facility. Jolene isn’t sure what it means to be loved and spoiled yet, so she is a little on the shy side. She's been living in a foster home for over a week now and she's come a long way since she first arrived.  Jolene will need some time to learn to trust,  but once she does she will be an amazing addition.  She could live with another calm, friendly dog with a slow introduction like she's doing in her foster home. Jolene seems to prefer the calmer doggy friends. She could also live with a dog-friendly cat, but they also need to be introduced slowly. She’s making progress in terms of housetraining but her new family should also be willing to help her learn.  Please lets find her a loving home!

Monday Musings

The Spring like weather filled the air all week, reaching 70 over the weekend!  In fact, Philadelphia even set a record.  There is nothing like warm weather, though with this warmth it doesn't exactly feel like the holiday season.  Reminds me of when I was living in San Diego trying to get used to the idea of a warm Christmas.  Some how cold and snow seem to be more representative of Christmas.

Cooper had a very busy week, he got to go on all kinds of adventures and rides including one to see daddy at work.  He was over joyed.  He is such a social dog who loves attention and interaction with others.

For almost two weeks I've been struggling with the whole vertigo thing again.  Almost every night it seems to happen in my sleep.  Waking up to the room spinning and feeling woozy is a nightmare.  It's crazy how it seems to infiltrate deep sleep like that.  Often times if I so much as move my head sleeping it intensifies even more.  Honestly it leaves me feeling apprehensive to even fall asleep.  Interesting because I've been having a lot of dreams as well.  There's nothing I can just take to make it stop which makes it even worse.  Since my sleep is being affected it leaves me feeling rather tired during the day.

Of course the doctors can't explain exactly why this happens.  They have theories that's about all.  It's just had to believe that a migraine could continuously cause such attacks during the sleep state.  Though they have decided to do a sleep study so it should be interesting.  Really should not even be on the computer yet its hard as sometimes I just want to read the news, look something up or even just out of boredom browse stuff.

Friday night we stayed in order Chinese and watched some Sons of Anarchy. That's the new show we are marathon watching.  Seems good so far and the main character isn't bad to look at either.  Oddly enough he reminds me of an old boyfriend of mine from the younger days. Always had a thing for blonde hair, blue eyed guys growing up. Jax the main character would have been the exact type I crushed on. ;)

Saturday we had plans to go downtown but a bout of intense vertigo early Saturday morning caused a change in plans.  So instead we went to a local holiday festivities that involved the Clydesdale horses of the Budweiser commercial parading down main street.  It was really awesome to see.  The weather was gorgeous so played outside with Cooper a little too.

Sunday we had to food shop which always takes up a while.  Two carts and a hefty bill later we arrived home not only to have to unpack all the stuff but freeze meat as well.  We try to buy enough for at least a month.  Watched some football, played with Cooper outside and watched some more SOA.

Today had a doctor's appointment so stopped by the parents house  too since my mom happened to be off.  Then it was home to work on some insurance stuff and get busy in the kitchen making all kinds of goodies including apple pie and homemade vegetable soup.

Now I need to just relax!

Soul Sunday

Do not allow your soul to be crippled by anger, stress or other negative things.  Everything is only as it is. There is no reason to let it destroy you.  Breath in, breath out.  Relax.  Let every moment be what it's going to be.  What is meant to be will come your way, what is not will fall away. And remember that a wonderful gift may not always be wrapped as you expect.

What Is The Deal

Let's talk politics. Something I'm sure we all have opinions on yet are too afraid to express for fear of criticism or shunning from others.  Personally I've had it up to hear with all the politically correct stuff.  I want to hear people's true thoughts not what they think others need or want to hear.

Trump seems to be the hot trending topic on social media these days, especially his latest comments about wanting to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States.  While his comments seem outrageous to many, at least he is being honest and forth right with his opinions.  Love or hate him it's ones choice.  That's the great thing about freedom being able to have your own opinions and express them freely.

Maybe the guy is leading in polls not because he might be the best candidate but because Americans want real change instead of the political correct bs of the typical career politician.  They want to hear what the politicians really think not what the politicians think everyone wants to hear.

Trump wants to make American great again and that's what people want to hear.  They want someone willing and not afraid to stand up to the craziness the government has become.  The other candidates, and our current politicians need to start getting the balls to do this too.  Some already do but many don't.  We need to hear from more of the candidates, we need their candor and honest as well.

The American people want real solutions to the problems that exist...economy, education, health insurance, social security, taxes, immigration, foreign policy, environment, outsourcing, taxes and so on.  Not just temporary fixes but real solutions.

There are plenty of other GOP candidates running for the Republican nomination.  And at least two Democrats running for their party's nomination as well.  But we don't hear their opinions, plans or thoughts voiced in the mainstream media hoopla. Why.

When the constitution was created by our forefathers, when a government was established....wonder if they ever imagined it would turn into such the corrupt, dishonest, mess it has.

We were given this amazing, beautiful planet to live on yet why can't our government compromise and find ways to work together to make it a great place for every human being and animal to live?   Why does there have to be such division, corruption, dishonesty and even hate?

Trump talks of banning Muslims, I have a much better idea.  How about we ban all our politicians from collecting their benefits, salaries and taking vacations until they come up with real solutions to the many problems that plague this country.

This political presidential campaign stuff has only just begun, here's hoping all the candidates have the guts to be honest, to walk their talk, to not be bought and share their true opinions with the public. Most importantly they need to figure out real solutions, not temporary fixes, to today's problems.

Snickers is  Spaniel/Corgi mix about 15 years old, and his buddy Reesee is a Toy Fox Terrier 10 years old. Poor Snickers and Reesee just lost their dad and now their whole world has been turned upside down. They went from having someone home for company all day and a fenced yard to play in, to a home where their new caretaker works full time and can only take them for leash walks. As you can imagine, the boys are terribly confused and worried about what life might hold for them. Their caretaker is doing her best, but she knows the boys would be happier in a situation similar to what they’re used to, so she’s asked us to help them find a new special someone who can make them feel safe again. They get along fine with other dogs, and while like many older dogs they aren’t crazy about energetic little kids, they will just avoid them rather than bite. Both are in good health and recently had a check up, so their bags are packed and they’re ready to go.  Their situation is rather urgent.  Please lets find them a great home!

Monday Musings

The weather has been rather warm with highs in the upper 50's, with the possibility of even 60!  Though the nights have been rather chilly it's hard to complain since the days are at least warming up.

Took advantage of the warmer temperatures during the week by cleaning up and working on some outdoor stuff.  Been working hard to pack all our stuff to storage in plastic bins.  Not only does it help organize everything better but its protects stuff from dust, rodents and water.   After finding mice poo in our dresser I was pissed. We have done everything to make this house look cute but the owners refuse to address some serious issues that need fixing. Really hoping we find a new place soon.

Friday night we were feeling tired so just ordered in and watched some Shark Tank.  Saturday the man went home to Long Island to visit family and friends.  While I spent the weekend with my family.

Saturday my mother and I took advantage of the nice weather by going to Peddlers Village which was kicking off their Christmas festival.  It's a lovely place in the countryside with outdoor shops and restaurants.  We were hoping my sister and niece could join us but they had family plans. Guess with the nice weather everyone had the same idea as it was packed! Even finding a parking space was difficult, we drove around a little waiting for a space to open up.  The shops were wall to wall people.  Even walking around outside involved mobs of people but it was fun!

Sometimes those are things I wish the man could enjoy more.  There were plenty of couples there enjoying the festivities.  Wish he could step out his comfort zone of sports and the couch to enjoy other fun things in life. Sometimes life with him feels monotonous.  Even when I get him to do stuff his lack of enthusiasm and need to always check his phone is enough to want to find someone else to enjoy it with.  If I didn't come up with fun ideas he would zone in front of the tv watching sports forever. Sports is and will always be his true love, and sometimes think do I really want to have to compete with that?

Sunday we spent some time outside playing with Cooper in their awesome backyard. He loves to run around and enjoys chasing the squirrels too.  Also decided to tackle the job of going through stuff I still have stored at their house.  Got rid of quite a few things including a lot of books.  Before the dizziness I was a book fiend, would spend hours reading books. And loved to buy new books which allowed me to accrue quite the book collection.  But too often all those books sit on a shelf collecting dust. Also reminisced a little too by looking at old photos.

Today it was all about Cooper.  Since the weather is so nice decided to take him places he is allowed. We checked out indoor plants and holiday decorations at Lowes where he was greeted with lots of friendly people and smiles. Then of course with a Petsmart right next door we had to visit it as well.  It's amazing all the products and toys available for pets these days.  It's nice when stores let dogs accompany their owners, makes for a fun outing for all.

This evening when the man came home we went to get a tree, which is basically me trying to pick a tree and him standing there saying not much.  Telling you the man needs a shot of enthusiasm for something other than sports.  Had to laugh when the guy delivered the tree, the man looks at me and says where should he put it. Only spent 10 minutes clearing the room and putting the tree holder in that area we discussed it would go while the man sat in the room. He is really that obviously sometimes. hahaha

On that note think I'm going to try to relax.  Though as I always say it's not exactly my forte.  Plus been having issues with the dizziness in the sleep again.

As for the photos lately, they may not be the best as I've been making a point to enjoy the moment more as opposed to always trying to capture it on a photo.  In fact it's why some weeks I have no photos.  It's much more fun to enjoy the moment than always worry about taking photos of it. Though photos are always nice too.  :)

Soul Sunday

Dream, and let others dream.  We must each follow our dreams to become who we are meant to be.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

This is composite of 3 different exposures, one for the paddler, one for the background and one for the sky. I hope you like it! If you want to see more my work,Check out my Facebook page:

Put It Down

Every morning I watch as a dad walks his young son to bus stop, he never looks up from his phone. It's sad to watch as what a great opportunity to bond yet he chooses his phone. His son walks ahead of him looking down and lonely.  The same scenario replays itself on their walk home in the afternoons.

When did phones become more important than real interaction with people and loved ones.

People are glues to their phones....carelessly and mindlessly looking down at them as they drive, eat, walk, shop, work, sleep, with others, oh the moments of phone use are endless. But why are we so obsessed with these gadgets?  Why can't people go a few minutes without checking their phones?  Is anything they are reading on the phones that important?

Our preoccupation with our phones can encroach on our time spent deepening relationships, reflecting on ourselves, preparing thoughtful work, having fun and even simple relaxing.

We post things on facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr or whatever other social media sites tend to be hot at the moment....but why?  Why do we feel the need to update our statuses, or share where we are at?  Are we simply bored, lonely or looking for attention; or is it really that fun?  Does anyone else really care?  And how many people who friend us or follow us really care about us?  Are those people, or even strangers, who follow us on social media really more important than being present with the people who choose to spend their real time with us?

Our society has no idea what really matters anymore.  Or shall I say who even matters.

I've debated saying something to this dad who walks by glued to his phone instead of paying attention and being present for his children.  And it goes something like this....

Hey mr dad, Is what your reading about on that phone of yours more important than sharing a real moment with your son?   I bet if you took his hand, instead of letting him walk a mile in front of you with his head down and looking lonely, his eyes would light up and his soul would feel so loved.  And if you mustered a few words to him on your walk each morning and afternoon.....like how are you doing, or how was your day, or is there anything fun you would like to do after school, or simply saying how grateful you are for him....those moments would mean a lot more to him than saying nothing while staring at your phone. In fact, I bet a little conversation between you and him each morning as you walk to the bus stop would be something he would cherish forever.  Those moments you could be truly bonding instead of being glued to your phone could just be the difference in shaping a young boy's future life.  Did you ever stop to think about that?

Though all that would probably be too long to even hold the dad's attention given his apparent attachment to his phone.  So maybe I'll start with something simple like this....Is whatever your reading on your phone more important than bonding with your beautiful son on the walk to the bus each morning?

To the world I say....

Put down your phone....look up at the people and world around you, appreciate the moments of life as they happen, be present, truly connect and give your attention to the people who matter in your life, don't be distracted by looking at your phone at inopportune moments which depending on the situation can put not only yourself at risk but all those around you, make genuine connections not just numbers to boost your friends or followers list on social media, get a life instead of reading about everyone else's or create one that is so great you have no time to bother checking your phone because your too busy living it!

Using your smartphone in ways that make your job and personal life easier makes sense. But letting that glowing screen keep you from fully engaging with the world around you?  That's something no one should stand for.

Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

Also wanted to mention that in many large cities and towns the shelters are overwhelmed.  It's not easy finding dogs good, safe homes. There are simply not enough homes for all the dogs that need them, sadly that means that many innocent, sweet dogs are losing their precious lives simply because there is not enough room.   Please this holiday season adopt instead of shop.

This sweet little 9 month old Terrier mix has no name. She is sitting at the local animal county shelter hoping to find a family and warm bed to sleep in at night.  Please lets find her a loving home!

Blizzard is an American Eskimo. He was purchased at a pet store and then the family decided a puppy was too much work and he was too hyper for the kids. They found a new home for him but they were too young to take care of me. They have school, friends, & many other things more important than a dog. He had to get a hair cut because the younger people he lived with cut my hair with scissors. It is starting to grow back out now and one day be as long as it is supposed to be. Then, he was adopted to what he thought was his forever home, but he then found himself in a kill shelter with lots of signs of neglect.  He's okay though, but because of his breed & hair he has to be an inside only dog. He loves bathes, getting his hair blow dried, nail clipping, walking on the leash and riding in the car. He even knows how to sit. He is crate trained and almost house trained. It would probably be best if there were no cats. He is very outgoing and agile and needs exercise but also very loving and need lots of attention.  He is a very smart dog and will work hard at being a perfect addition to your family if you are willing to spend some time with him and give him a chance.  Please lets find him a loving home!

Lucas is Australian Shepherd / Border Collie mix.  He was picked up by BARC as a stray showing signs of severe trauma and repeated long time abuse. We immediately got him to the vet to be checked out and have x-rays. As evidenced by the old and new wounds and scars, he’s endured a lot over a long period of time, it’s heartbreaking.  When the vet called us to let us know what they found, it was hard to hear. Lucas has a broken leg that has mostly healed; imbedded collars that left multiple scars and open wounds on his neck; multiple pellets in him from people shooting him with pellet guns; a severed quadriceps muscle that prevents him from using his right leg properly; a left hip joint that is out of socket with fractures around it; fractured pelvis and multiple wounds and scars all over his face and body as if he has been beaten or attacked. This precious boy has suffered for literally years at the hands of humans.

Despite all of this he's a sweet boy and we decided to have him undergo a pretty extensive surgery to both legs a few months back due to the amount of pain he was in, we just couldn’t wait. The surgery was a long and complicated one and the vets found foreign objects of hair and wood in our sweet boy’s right leg that had created a tunnel all the way down his leg of scar tissue which was obviously causing significant pain, among everything else. Good news is he came through surgery great and is doing fantastic. He almost immediately started putting weight on his legs which the vets said was amazing.  Lucas is good with other dogs and even cats, but would do best in a home without any small children. They just move too fast for him and make him very nervous. He's a love, just a bit timid at first - but who can blame him after all he has endured at the hands of people.  Don't let this boy's limp fool you, he can run like the wind when he wants to.  He also does a happy dance for mealtime. He's truly blossomed into an amazing boy who loves life.  Let's find him a home where he can live happily ever after.  Please lets find him a great home!

No paw left behind our mission!

 {Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
