Life always involves choices. Probably one of the hardest aspects of life is trying to figure out how to make the right choices, if there even is such a thing.  While we are free to make choices, we are not free from the consequences of those choices.  And every choice has a consequence, whether good or bad.

It's been said the best way to make a choice is to follow you heart., or listen to your intuition.  Which is probably good advice, but even it has been known to fail.  Besides what if the heart is torn between two choices, or intuition clouded....what then?

Over the past few years I've struggled with making some choices.  Wanting to make the right ones but not quite sure what the right ones look like.  Personally speaking I've have made choices I second guessed in the past, so not wanting to feel that way again can lead to a stagnation of sorts.

There are moments where I feel stuck in indecision.  Sometimes it's hard to follow the heart, or one's intuition.  Especially when it means a choice could cause you to lose things that bring happiness. Of course feeling stuck between choices is not exactly ideal either.

When it comes to making important decisions, putting aside the heart and intuition, think the best way to go about such choices is to make a pro and con list.  Sometimes it can help bring more clarity.  Of course though it brings clarity, it does not bring courage. That's the thing with choices, sometimes they involve a whole lot of courage. And faith helps too.

I've made pro/con list, have had an idea of what the heart wants and intuition is trying to say, but it's just a matter of having the courage and faith to make the choices. Not only make the choices but create a plan of action to help them along.  Do I have the courage to make some of those changes, suppose only time will tell.

And sometimes you just have to stop worrying, wondering and doubting.  Have faith that maybe things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but just how it's meant to be.  Maybe that's why it was so hard to make a decision in the first place because neither was meant to be.

Nature is a great example of this, some times there is a clear cut path and sometimes there isn't.
