Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, GA, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

Leo is Maltese/Poodle puppy mix who was rescued along with his three siblings and mother in a classic neglect case from their previous owner in Mexico. All dogs were malnourished, flea and tick infested, and had demodex mange. They have all come a long way since their rescue a few months back and they have been thriving in foster care.  The pups are all very sweet, however they are a little shy. So they will, of course, need extra time to warm up to new people and situations. He is good with other dogs, cat and children. They are extremely well behaved pups, ride well in the car, and eager to please.  Please lets find them a loving home!

Mandy is a 6 yr old, 60 lb Lab/Sharpei mix. A super playful, big hearted goof ball, Mandy is ready for a family as silly as she is. Fine with male dogs, Mandy would also be fine as an only dog and can't to find a family of her own! Mandy loves to go on leash walks and absolutely adores children. Please lets find her a great home!

 Boots is a handsome Labrador / Wirehaired Fox Terrier mix. He is 30 lb, 6 year old. Surrendered by his inadequate human to the NYC shelter system, he was so terrified he ended up on the euthanasia list. He is a splendid fellow. Good with dogs, cats and is even house trained. Please lets find him a good home!

Coco is a Chihuahua mix. She is around 7 years old and 7.5 lbs. Coco has plenty of spicy, fun energy to go around. She is a very loyal companion who will want to be by your side whenever possible. She'll follow you around your home to make sure everything is okay and try to lend a helping paw wherever she can. Coco was surrendered to the shelter when her owners moved and could not take her with them, and it is clear that she was someone's beloved companion...she is house trained and knows basic commands. Walks are one of her favorite things to do and she would really enjoy someone who likes getting out as much as she does. She walks excellently on her leash and is very well behaved in all sorts of situations. She'd really love to join you wherever you venture out too. Coco gets along well with other small dogs and would enjoy a canine sibling in her new home, but would also make an amazing solo companion. She really loves just about everyone she meets and while she may be shay at first, she warms up quickly and is on her new friend's lap in no time. Once her playtime and walks are through, she is a champion lap dog...she is very content to curl up and snuggle beside her people., though she is never pushy for affection. Coco really is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet, with an incredibly loyal disposition. She would fit in perfectly with someone that will shower her with the love that she deserves. Please lets find her a loving home!

 Hope is a Dachshund mix. Although these aren't the best pictures, Hope has an inner beauty that comes from having survived the worst and still believing in the best. Hope was rescued by a good samaritan who found her abandoned, hungry, and with what appeared to be burn marks on her skin. Hope's rescuer took her in and cared for her, treating the burns, getting her back to the perfect weight, catching up on all her shots, and making sure she was heartworm negative an on preventative. Hope is now well and ready to be adopted. She has healed from her burns with no scars and has been spayed. She is ready to start a new life with a loving adopter. Hope has a very sweet, calm personality. Through all this Hope has remained positive and cooperative. She likes people, gets along with other dogs, and really appreciates being rescued. Hope has a heart of gold.  Please lets find her a good home!

 No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
