Monday Musings

Exhaustion is setting in. ha  How do professional house cleaners do it?  After a day of vacuuming, mopping, dusting and cleaning basically the entire house, combined with bathing the dog, doing loads of laundry and scrubbing kitchen I just want to curl up under a warm blanket and relax.

Remember back in college trying house cleaning for some part time money, think I lasted maybe two weeks.  As tiny me could just not keep up with the physical demands of the job five days week. Still find myself physically exhausted after a day of whole house cleaning.  Vacuuming and mopping an entire house are no joke. So cannot imagine how anyone cleans houses every day for a living, got to be one tough cookie. Anyway, that's my Monday in a nutshell.

Friday involved a few errands. Saturday consisted of hanging out with my mother for a little, her dryer broke so she brought her stuff over to use ours.  Of course Cooper and I were happy to hang out with her.  Made a little home made stromboli for dinner. The man was boring with all his sports watching, he flips around like a mad man so I went upstairs and watched some taped shows on dvr. I don't know how he doesn't feel more bored.

Sunday was spent watching football, of course I got demoted to the small bedroom tv because the man had to watch his red zone.  He's become quite the tv nazi.  It's why I refuse to chip in for the cable bill, figure why pay for something I barely use. ha  Oh and finally got around to cleaning out the office desk.  It's amazing how much paper still accumulates even though computers were suppose to eliminate it.

Meanwhile, the warm, summer like weather is fading as more cool fall temperatures move in.  It might be a good time to start looking for a warm parka type jacket. As last winter was so cold that I realized just how much I need one.  Even though I'm afraid to see the price tag as usually anything that actually keeps one warm when temperatures dip below freezing usually costs a lot.

Well it's getting to be dinner and have a new salmon recipe to try.  Plus hopefully more snuggle moments.
