Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, FL, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

Darcey is a very devoted and sweet one year old Dachshund/Fox Terrier mix rescued from a high kill shelter. She's still very much puppy at heart. She loves to cuddle and loves to play. Bravely, she is learning about the world and is very intelligent, curious, and happy. Darcy enjoys learning, and is very eager to please, She's already learned a few commands. Being only a year old, she needs space to exercise, run, and play. Darcy has never had an accident inside the house, and has been 100% consistent on puppy pads. Darcy loves to cuddle, and is quite affectionate and devoted, but also loves to play with her toys independently. She walks nicely on a leash, and is good meeting new people on walks. We've had Darcy spayed, fully vaccinated including rabies, heart worm tested and microchipped. She weighs about 14 lbs. If you'd like to meet Darcy, please complete our online adoption application found on dexterfoundation.com.  Please lets find her a loving home!

Little Meema is a Beagle and family dog that wants to be where it's happening. She is always curious about what is going on but in her sweet, laid back way. If no one is about in her her foster home, she will go find em!  She loves kids and does great with the other dogs. Meema is not shy and she has a relaxed confidence that will blend in well with just about any family. She is true to her breed in that she loves to sniff around outside. Meema has also done very well with potty habits in her foster home and has no problem being crated when the family is away. In fact, she likes her crate enough that she is happy to sleep there at night as well...but only if someone else is going to bed too. She definitely wants to be with her family. Please lets find her a good home!

Salt and Pepper are Chihuahua Terrier mixes who are two peas on a pod. This bonded pair is completely in love and must stay together. Salt is a girl, Pepper a boy. They're three years old now (and about 15 pounds each) and have never been separated. They have perfect manners, walk great on a leash, are very quiet and low energy, and are completely housebroken! They get along very well with other dogs, cats, and everyone they meet.  Please lets find them a loving home!

 No paw left behind our mission!
{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}

  1. All these dogs are adorable! I have three rescue dogs--- two pugs and a pomeranian. I also have 5 chinchillas. I wish I could take a bunch more dogs,but the Hubs said no more! We used to have 13 animals, so I can understand why he feels the way he does.
