Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, NJ, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

Jamie is a West Highland Terrier/ Poodle mix who is 9 weeks old. This little guy was the product of an accidental litter. Jamie found his way to Marley’s by way of a customer who notified us that Jamie was being given away outside a pet store. Jamie’s Mom and Dad will be altered so no more accidents, but now Jamie has made it his mission to steal your heart. He is super smart, affectionate, playful and will probably get to about 12 lbs when full grown. Jamie gets along with other dogs, is a natural leader and has no problem being the center of attention. Please lets find him a loving home!

 Gable Kung Pao is a Greyhound who is 3 1/2 years old and one adorable boy.  He is very social, affectionate, gives kisses and walks great on leash what more could you ask for?  He's eager to please and really enjoyed just hanging out with the volunteers and he takes direction well.  A boy that we all thought was really special. He's cat tolerant with supervision. Please lets find him a great home!

 Pink is a friendly and sweet 1 year old pup who appears to be a Shepherd/Collie mix. She is basically full grown, weighing 55 pounds, but she might fill out a little bit more over the next few months. Pink came to Bideawee via a municipal shelter on Long Island. She seems to be housebroken already. Pink does not like to share her food or toys, so she should go home with an experienced family with older children. Pink seems to be picky about her doggie friends, so she should always be supervised when meeting new dogs. Please lets find her a good home!

Chloe is a Boxer mix. She is in a private home and has not been evaluated by PAWS. Over the years Chloe has acted as an informal service dog. In the absence of any service training, Chloe would wake her family up in the middle of the night when her mom’s blood sugar got low. Chloe also tripped her mom’s home security system twice, triggering a police response when her mom needed help. Chloe has a gentle temperament and is great with children, adults and cats. However, she’s not ideal for a family that currently has a dog in the home due to a fear of other dogs both small and large. Chloe is currently living with a temporary family but will need a new home by July 28th. We ask that if anyone in the community is able to open their home or knows someone who can, to please contact Kelsey Keech-Sonsa at the email below. Please lets find her a loving home!

Bentley (wheaten male), Hanna Grace (black/grey female) and Mac (black male) have spent the last 5-7 years together in an extremely loving and caring home.  Their lives were perfect, in every conceivable way. Then the unthinkable occurred. Their human mom unexpectedly passed away, leaving these three loving Scotties without a home. We realize they are facing many changes in their lives, but the one change we do not want to occur, is to have them separated from each other.  While this may not be possible, we still want to try to find them a home together.  They deserve this chance.
If you have Scottie/Westie/Terrier experience, and are willing to give these three a fresh start, and have the resources to care for them physically and medically, please contact us for more information on the adoption process. Please lets find them a great home!

No paw left behind our mission!
{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}

If you want to be a part of Woof Wednesdays email Ann Michele, Lauren or leave a comment. Or simply start posting about dogs in need of a home on your blog or facebook page!
