Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, GA, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

Betsy is a beagle who is so happy to be here at the shelter as as she had some tough times recently. But she is being showered with love and getting lots of TLC to get me strong again. She is super sweet, very mellow, and just love to follow people around to see what they are up to. Of course, she is also hoping to get another extra cuddle in as that is my favorite thing.  She loves people, and gets on super well with other dogs. As the other dogs in the office will tell you, she fits right in. So if you are looking for the perfect, sweet mannered dog to share your life and love with, then you need to come meet her. Please lets find this girl a loving home!

 Margo is a beautiful 3 year old setter mix. She has a gorgeous auburn coat of the softest fur. She feels like a teddy bear. Margo is very dog friendly and doesn't seem to mind cats.  She is a very sweet, happy girl that is house and crate trained.  She loves playing with her friends, basking in the sun, going for walks, meeting new people and dogs, chasing balls in the yard. having her belly rubbed and taking naps on the couch.  Margo is a laid back girl with lots of love to give!  Her awesome temperament and perfect size makes her an easy addition to any household.  Please lets find her a great home!

Flurry is a delightful, social and playful Labrador Retriever mix puppy. This teenage puppy came to Bideawee via a rescue group that pulled her from a municipal shelter, where her future had been looking very grim. Flurry is very energetic and will need an active family with kids over the age of 9. Her new family will need to continue her housebreaking and obedience training. A volunteer has been clicker training her, so she already knows several commands including sit, down, roll over, and back up. Flurry gets along with other dogs, but she should not live with cats. While she weighs about 38 pounds now, she will grow more over the next year; we expect her to be a medium to large sized adult. Please lets find her a good home!

Love is a Terrier mix, 1-2 yrs old, 16 lbs. This sweet little girl is upbeat and friendly, with no issues observed. She's a little anxious in the shelter, as you can imagine, with all the noise of the other dogs. She could live with other dogs and kids, but we don't know about cats yet. When she came to us as a stray, she was all matted and dirty and look at her now. She would benefit from basic obedience training to settle into your home. She would even make a good jogging companion for you. Please lets find her a loving home!

Tuppence is a Husky/Red Heeler mix. His friend Penny and him were on the run together after having been tied up for ages with not enough food. Penny found safety first, and he hung around the area waiting for his chance. Once the nice rescue volunteers took him in also, they had Penny +1 = Two Pence, or Tuppence that's how his name came to be. His friends call him Tuppers. Cats are not his friends. He is a very handsome young husky and loves to tell you all about it when he talks in true husky fashion. He still has rope marks around his neck from being tied up alone so long, but he just need some more tIc and good food and his coat will be really pretty again. He is doing great with crate training, he never had a safe soft bed before or regular meals. He still needs practice on the leash, but is a very smart guy, and can't wait to meet you to learn everything you have to teach him. He has learned sit, stay, and to go to my crate already from my foster parents, and is working hard to learn his manners. He is a really sweet boy. Please lets find him a good home!

No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
