 Summer is a young Irish Terrier.  She acts like her name sounds happy, warm, friendly, spunky and sunshiny. This bright girl is about 3 years old and 23 pounds, the perfect size for someone who wants a dog that's small but not too small. She's just right for any NYC apt but would do great outside of the city, too. Summer is friendly with everyone she meets, very playful, and super smart. She's eager to go for walks in the park, and she would do best in a medium active home.  Please lets find her a good home!

Rocky is a Yorkshire Terrier mix.  He is a very, very sweet, loving and caring dog who is good with all animals and kids.  Rocky is very shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he will sit with you and watch tv. He even knows sit, stay, come, and beg. When he wants to be alone, he will go to a room, lay down and go to sleep. Rocky has anxiety with vacuum cleaners, car rides, and noises at night. I've worked with him, and he's doing a lot better with the car rides and noises, but we're still working on the vacuum cleaner. Rocky can see shadows, but when he gets lost, he will bark until you show him his way. Rocky does need a set schedule. Here, he's fed at 7 AM, then get his insulin (13 units). He eats again at 7 PM and gets his last set of insulin (13 units). Rocky is not a barker, but will bark along with other dogs, if he's lost, or hears noises at night. Rocky does not mind being in the cage, and he's great walking on a leash and taking his insulin. Rocky is a gentle boy, and is not food or toy aggressive. He's also house trained, but can have accidents because of his diabetes. Please lets find him a loving home!

 Dwight and Mamie are Basset Hounds. This precious senior pair survived the worst together and now look forward to living the best together. Dwight is tan and white and about 10; Mamie is tricolor and about 8. They are both adorable and very sweet with a lot of pep left in their step. This terrific twosome will make a loving addition to the family lucky enough to adopt them.  Please lets find them a great home!

No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
