Woof Wednesday

Due to yesterdays news not exactly feeling myself. And my favorite post of the week feels tough. But not writing a post doesn't feel right either. So today is a special Woof Wednesday devoted to West Highland Terriers and mixes who need homes.

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, GA, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

Willie is a West Highland White Terrier & Glen of Imaal Terrier Mix named after country singer Willie Nelson, one of the most recognized artists in country music history. This dynamic, smart and adorable little terrier is sure to leave a legacy himself! We rescued Willie and his country singer friends from San Bernardino County in early December, and he has already settled himself right into life at TBL. He quickly made himself a large group of friends and bonded with his roommate and best friend Clint, a small Cocker Spaniel mix. Willie is a classic little terrier with a spunky, loyal, clever, alert and affectionate personality. This smart little cookie already knows how to sit on command, and his intelligence will make all further training a breeze! Willie weighs just over 15 pounds, a perfect compact size for most types of living situations. They estimate him to be around a year and a half year of age, and even though he is still quite young, he has a wise and mature aura about him. All in all Willie is a happy and peppy little dude whose tail is always wagging, and you can bet he is sitting patiently waiting for you to come meet him. Please lets find him a loving home!

Lola is West Highland Terrier mix who is super smart and very entertaining. She is not going to be a blob on your couch. A quite lovable dog, Lola wants companionship & interaction. This little sweetheart weighs in at 9 pounds & is approx 1 year old plus no shedding!! As you can see from her foster home photo, Lola LOVES cats and is also wonderful with other dogs! She is crate trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside by scratching at your door. Not recommended for household with toddlers due to high energy level. Lola is affectionate and curious. Please lets find her good home!

Pearl and Ivie are West Highland Terriers who are sisters and were pulled from close to being put down. We are fine with other dogs and will have to be inside companion due to our size. Here we weigh in at 10 lbs. The humans think we hare west highland terrier mixes with natural tails. We love to be held and know how to use the doggy doors. Being with a family with children that are 12 years and up or a retired couple would suits us. They are fine taking a bath. Please lets find them a loving great home!

No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
