Bathsheba is an Australian Kelpie/ Labrador Retriever mix. This great mama dog was left in a backyard alone to care for her babies and when they were old enough, she was surrendered to the shelter and forgotten. She is so sweet and displays no aggression with dogs or people, has a laid back attitude. Because she was not cared for, she is positive for heart worms, but the rescue will supply all of the meds needed to clear her condition and the rescue will pay for the retest until she is negative. She is affectionate, friendly, respectful and playful. Good with other dogs and children. This sweet girl deserves a loving home, could that be with you. Please lets find her a good home.

Junior is the happiest, sweetest little Schnauzer you can imagine. He loves to curl up at the end of the bed at night, he adores being held and snuggled, and he'll cuddle in your lap when you sit with him on the couch. He was recently rescued from a kill shelter in LA, and his foster mom fell head over heels the minute she got him home. He chills under her desk while she works and gives her kisses at break time. Junior is about 9 pounds full grown and gets along well with all animals and people he meets. If you want to apply to adopt this dog please complete an adoption application here:  Please lets find him a loving home!

Tator Tot is a Pit Bull mix who is around 1 year old and 40 lbs. She is a sweet girl who is social to people and full of puppy energy. Tator Tot was surrendered by her owner because he was moving and couldn't take her with him. She is comfortable with other dogs and in fact should live with another dog to show her the ropes on how to behave. She could live in a home with kids over 5. She is very interested in playing with cats, so should only live with cats who can handle an energetic dog. Please lets find her a great home!

Chandler is a Scottish Terrier and victim of our bad economy. His home was lost to foreclosure, his family forced to move, and instead of taking him with them, they left him locked inside, with a small amount of food and water. After several days of hearing his cries for help, neighbors broke in to the house, to save Chandler, and give him food and water. Afterwards, they continued to feed him however, his life was delegated to a yard that he continuously got out of probably looking for his family that abandoned him. After several days of research, his previous family was located and gave us permission to place Chandler in our rescue program. As you can see from the photos Chandler didn't have a great life, even when his family was with him. He was constantly tied up outside, left for days at a time and his coat and skin suffered for it. The tether he was attached to tightened around his neck wearing down the hair and causing a rash and skin burns. These photos were taken after his matted, filthy coat was shaved off. There was no other way to properly groom him. Interestingly, after we rescued this wonderful Scottie, all of his fears went away, and he has become a true Scot! No more worries about where his next meal will come from and no concerns for fresh water. His medical needs have now been met, and he is ready to find his new home. Feeding Chandler a high quality food helped his coat immensely, however it may never completely return. Nevertheless Chandler adores attention and being held and petted. So much so he has some jealousy issues with other dogs. Come visit this wonderful Scottie boy and consider giving him a home that he can call his own. Please lets find him a good home!

No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
