 Stevie is a sweet 10yr old boy Maltese and weighs about 7 pounds.  He came to SCMR from a shelter where he was running out of time.  He was very thin and not feeling so good, because during his dental, he lost 27 teeth!  Yes, that was a lot, but he feels so much better now and is able to eat without pain now.  If you are looking for a boy that loves to snuggle and be close to his human, this is the boy for you!  He loves to be held and needs that little jump assist when being picked up!. He is on some meds to help his kidneys and an intestinal infection, but we feel this is due to the extreme paradental disease that he had and expect him to respond really well. Please lets find him a great home!

Ahso is a very sweet boy Maltese about 10 years old, he is loving but independent at the same time, and so very handsome. He loves to be outside, using the doggie doors to enjoy the outdoors. He gets along with his foster siblings, loves to sleep in the bed with his humans picking a corner of the bed that he stays on.He does need to watch his figure, as he loves food, but it's not hard to control using the Lives Abundance weight loss formula. And he does have a health concern for something similar to diabetes but he does not need to be on any meds at this time. He is good with other dogs as well. Please lets find him a good home!

Pelusa (tricolor; 1 year old) and Lassie (red; 3 years old) are a sweet little pair of long haired Chihuahua mixes. Both were surrendered to the kill shelter when their owner could no longer care for them, and we rescued them from the euthanasia list. It's impossible to believe these angels ever ended up there in the first place. These fox like creatures have happy, golden souls and so much love to give. Pelusa is a kiss monster and loves to jump into your lap and burrow under your blankets. Lassie is more of a guardian and prefers to lie at your feet. Both are super playful and working on their housebreaking skills. They are good with dogs, cats and children.  Please lets find this pair a loving home!

No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
