Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, CO, NJ, NY, PA and TX all in need of good, loving homes!

 Wally is a white, 1 - 2 year old, 20 lb., Westie/Terrier/possible Corgi mix. Such a sad story...their mom lost her house due to forclosure and brought her 2 dogs into the city shelter. She was crying and the dogs were crying when she left Wally and his brother there (Wally's brother got adopted). Wally gets along great with other dogs and cats. He's young and has a lot of energy. He loves to run and play with other dogs and we must place him with another dog around his age and size. He needs a calm, loving environment. He is very affectionate, sweet and adorable. Wally is healthy, housetrained, neutered, current on all vaccines, and micro-chipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. An adoption application must be filled out prior to anyone meeting any of our dogs. We do not adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old. Please lets find this little guy a loving home!

Wilma is now known as Chelsea. She is a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix who is looking for her new family. She has been in the Cell Dog Training Program for the past five weeks and only has a few more weeks before she will be on the hunt for hopefully you! She is a great girl but will need to probably be in an only dog home. She loves people and likes other dogs but at home she gets jealous. Somebody invested almost $700 in me so I have some more manners, am crate trained, and can walk on a leash very nicely! Her ideal family probably won't have kids. Go to website listed below for information on how to adopt her. Please let's find her a great home!

 Jim Mason is a 3 year old Greyhound.  He is one amazingly handsome red boy with huge brown eyes that are very expressive. He has funny ears in that they can't seem to figure out which way they want to land. He is extremely snuggly and if possible, loves to sit near or next to you.He gets along with other dogs . He respects their space and at times is playful with them. He walks really well on a leash along with other dogs.  He also can be vocal after he eats and stretches out and gets all comfy on a dog bed. It's pretty darn cute. He loves taking treats from your hand but is not quite sure what toys are. It's fun to see him blossom everyday with each discovery. All in all he is a beautiful boy. He is very sweet and loving.  Please lets find him a good home!

 Romo is a sweet and friendly Maltese mix who weighs just 10 pounds. This 6 year old little guy seems to get along with other dogs and he can probably live with cats as well. Since he is small and slightly timid with strangers, a calm and gentle family with kids over the age of 5 is recommended. Romo seems to be housebroken already but he might need help getting used to a new routine. Please lets find him a loving home!

Chance is a Terrier mix who was found as a stray.  He is a great little guy who really, really wants to be in a home. When we first saw him at Animal Control, his sad eyes drew our attention immediately, and when we opened his cage, he flew straight into our arms and began kissing us. This dude will be a great dog for a family, although perhaps some lessons in manners might be a good idea. Please lets find him a great home!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
