Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some great dogs from CA, CO, NJ, NY, PA and TX all in need of good homes.
Feel free to share on social media, as the more their stories get shared the better chance they have of finding family's and homes!

This little guy doesn't even have a name much less a home.  He is a poodle mix who is hoping a loving family saves him soon.  Please let's find him a good home!

Coffee (male) and Brandy (female), are sibling littermates who are like two sizes of the exact same greyhound -- they look so alike!  They are 9 years young, born within minutes of each other, and have been velcro buddies ever since.    They were adopted together a long time ago, and have never been apart.  To see them running in the yard close together, and lying on adjoining pillows, never more than a small distance between them makes tears come to my eyes.  I say this is what true sibling love is all about.  They were relinquished through no fault of their own, nor their lifelong guardian, who had no choice but to give them up.  FORG promised to find them their next best forever home.  Their foster mom says they are a little shy at this time, but warming up each day.  They get along with all other dogs, even tiny little ones (don't know about cats yet), and show excitement each time they go out into the yard.  It is FORG’s goal to adopt them together and to bring their special kind of affection into your home to enjoy.  Is yours the perfect place for them to enjoy their retirement, and become their next forever family.  Lets find them a great home!

 Sweet little Tommy is wondering why no one wants him. Foster Mom just can't understand why this little doll is still in rescue. He loves a warm lap but has great energy playing with toys and other small dogs but could also be an only dog. Please consider opening your home to this wonderful little doll baby. He will brighten your every day.  Lets find him a loving home!

Collin is a friendly Australian Terrier mix who is energetic and playful! He will do well with an active family with children over the age of 12. His new family should have some dog experience, as Collin has a tendency to guard his wet food (he may growl or snap at someone that tries to take it away from him). Collin is a young adult around 2 years old who weighs 13 pounds. He is already housebroken and he gets along with other dogs.  Lets find him a good home!

 Introducing Powder -or Powder Puff Girl as we like to call her....because her superpower is CUTENESS! Powder is a 1-2 year old terrier mix and she weighs 40lbs. She was surrendered by her owner, along with another dog and her doggie sibling has already been adopted so now Powder Puff Girl is all by herself at the shelter. No worries on her end though because to her, every dog she meets is her best friend so she has been happily making new friends, both canine and human, since she arrived. She is absolutely amazing with other dogs and great with people, incredibly gentle and cuddly. She would make a perfect doggie member of any family. Here's even more good news about her - she completely passed her cat test so we think she would be fine living with cats (with proper intros, of course). Powder is great with any kind of handling, she's fine with being picked up and even enjoys (or nicely tolerates lol) bathtime! She is an absolutely amazing dog who deserves a home with people who will love and care for her.

 Mac and Bruce are two very sweet gentlemen who are looking for the affectionate family they deserve.  Unfortunately, these two guys are heartworm positive so must undergo treatment before they can settle into their forever home.  The boys will be 10 years old in August and have been together all their lives so they must be adopted together.  They are gentle and affectionate with humans of all ages.  If interested please fill out an adoption application at website listed below.  Let's find them a loving home!

 No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
