Snicker doodles is a Basset Hound/Beagle mix who is an 8 year old cutie.  Okay a little bit of a mix, but what do you want – perfect.  I’m all basset hound personality with that charming attitude.  I love people and other dogs, however I am not wild of that four legged thing called a cat.  Please let's find him a great home!

Sandy is a gorgeous Labrador Retriever/ Basset Hound mix. She came to the rescue after her owners were no longer able to care for her.  Sandy is a sweet girl, who likes to run and play.  However, she can be very shy and nervous of new people at first.  She is seeking a patient, loving family who is willing to give her the time she needs to become comfortable.  However, once she knows you, she loves you and will come right out of her shell!  Once she’s comfortable, she is quite jumpy and active, and will need an energetic, obedience-minded adopter who can keep up with her energy.  She will also need a family that can teach her how to be comfortable around people when eating.  All she needs is a chance.  Please let's find her a loving home!

 Mary Ellen and Sandy come from puppy mills.  Both of these girls are young, spayed and gorgeous.  But because they came from puppymills- they need a little extra tlc, the company of another dog (one who is gentle, nice, happy), and a physically fenced in yard. That fence must be secure, escape-proof and in good shape.  These gals are going to be a little skittish at first, they may bolt and will not come back.  So the fence is non-negotiable.  Mary Ellen is an 18 mos. westie mix.  Yes, she is too cute for words and is remarkably resilient so the transition should be fairly smooth. Westies are known for the perky personalities and adorable prancing way of walking.  They are smart too- and easily trained.  But they are terriers so we think that given their background ideal home will be in a relatively quiet home with dog savvy people.  Sadie is a Pomeranian mix and like Mary Ellen is simply too cute for words but has not had her spa day yet.  That is okay-you will have days with bad hair, sloppy sweats, and Sadie will still love you.  Poms are fun and feisty and have personality plus.  They are loyal and loving.  Sadie will do best with a friendly canine companion, lots of human companionship and fun.  Small requirements for winning the doggie lottery prize if you are lucky enough to adopt her. Please lets find these two cuties a good home!

Caprice is a 11-year-old female. who has plenty of living left to do. She comes from a family of greyhounds whose elderly owner was no longer able to care for them. Caprice is a senior girl but don't tell her that. She acts like a 5 year old, following us from room to room. She is a velco dog who loves attention but not in a demanding way she's just happy to be in the same room with you.She enjoys her morning walk and wants to greet everyone she sees. She is good on a leash, walking with her foster brother and sister. She lives with two cats, she likes to follow them on occasion but only to see where they go. She would love to play with them but they ignore her most of the time.She appears to be fine with all sizes of dogs; she visits with several on her walks. Her house manners are impeccable, no issues. She does not tell you when she needs to go out so we just encourage her to go regularly and she always rewards us.  She will sleep until we get up, we let her out soon after. She enjoys her meals but doesn't always finish right away, she may graze and likes to check out the other dogs food even thought it is exactly the same. She will sample their bowls if you allow her but understands no and moves away immediately.Caprice is a loving girl with soft silky fur, she loves to be stroked and talked to. Lets find her a great home!

No paw left behind our mission!

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment. They need attention, love and time just like we do. In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
