Soul Sunday

Sometimes life can seem like a battle but you have to try to get through it and not give up. Never let one dark cloud cover the entire sky, as the sun is shining in some part of life. Think positive, focus on what is truly important.

Fact is happiness is not the absence of problems but the strength to deal with them. Strength doesn't come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't. We can let problems burden us or we can let them enlighten us.

Challenges are what make life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. Many of history’s greatest accomplishments were responses to difficult challenges. Many of your own greatest advances have been in response to challenging circumstances.

Be strong, hold on, focus on the good no matter how small it may seem and face those challenges head on. Use these words of wisdom from people who have rose above adversity to inspire you.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
Helen Keller

In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.
Lee Iacocca

If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it.
Mary Engelbreit

Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors.
Proverb

Opposition is a natural part of life. Just as we develop our physical muscles through overcoming opposition ,such as lifting weights, we develop our character muscles by overcoming challenges and adversity.
Stephen R. Covey

Where there is no struggle, there is no strength. Turn your wounds into wisdom.
Oprah Winfrey

Nobody is going to blindside you and hit you as hard as life will. Sometimes life will beat you to the ground, and keep you there if you let it. But it’s not about how hard life can hit you; it’s about how hard you can be hit while continuing to move forward. That’s what true strength is. And that’s what winning the game of life is all about.
