Pasta with Garlic Butter Sauce

The butter in this recipe can easily be substituted for olive oil and feel free to add more garlic.  It's delicious tossed with broccoli or chicken as well. 

8 oz spaghetti
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
3/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup butter for lighter version
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp fresh grated parmesan cheese

1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and return  pot.
2. Meanwhile melt butter in medium skillet.  Add garlic, bring to a simmer and cook about 1 minute to    flavor the butter.
3. Add butter and parsley to pasta and toss to coat.  Pour onto serving platter.
4. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.  Makes 4 servings.
