Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday. Please meet some special dogs from  CA, FL, NY, PA and WI all in need of good, loving homes.

Please feel free to use social media to spread the word about these dogs. The more people hear about them the better chance they have of finding homes. Thanks. (or as the dogs would say woof, woof)

 Magic is a shy and reserved Labrador/Greyhound mix. Sadly his family lost their home and finds himself back at C.A.R.L. waiting once again for his forever home.  He enjoys being loved the most.  He is house broken, sits on command and walks well on a leash.  He needs a home with no small children, where he'll be rarely left alone and a minimum 7 foot fence is required. I hope it's not long before I'm a cherished member of a family. Let's find this  special guy a good home!

Brulee is one of 7 dogs confiscated in a cruelty case from Monticello, GA.  This little cutie is very sweet and is the elder of the pack.  She is learning what it is like to live inside a home and have a space of her own.  She is getting along with the other dogs in her foster home.  Lets find this little girl the loving home she deserves!

This loving, social, and affectionate girl will make you so proud to have adopted a dog! Anita is a darling Chihuahua mix that came to Bideawee via a rescue group that pulled her from a municipal shelter. While she can be a little shy at first, she warms up very quickly and just loves to be with people! Anita is around 5 years old. She seems to be housebroken already, but she will probably need a little help getting acclimated to a new schedule and environment. She gets along with other dogs and seems to be friendly with cats. Due to her tiny stature, she should go home with a calm and gentle family with children over age 5.

Candy is a sweet treat, don't be fooled by my frowny face as I am one happy, carefree, young lady looking for a good time. Easy going and very unflappable, other dogs, kids and cats are A-Ok in my little black book.  She enjoys going and doing and folks will tell you she is a wonderful leash walker and very well mannered.   A little bit of a chunky monkey,  She is solid and sturdy and belly rubs make me grin with great pleasure.  Candy is very even keel and seems to like everyone.  She is not a dog who is all over you and in your face.  She is very polite and gives you space but will also come and sit right by you. She's very interested in people and what they are doing.  37lbs; 4-5 yrs old; we think she is a cairn terrier/west highland terrier mix.  Let's find this lovely girl the home she deserves!

I am an 8 year old white and tan Westie mix.  I really look ditry but that is not the truth.  My coloring is what makes me look that way.  Since there is no history on me all members of my new family must be over the age of  eleven.

Moffat is sweet, funny and smart Cairn Terrier currently being fostered in Wisconsin. With the first snow, Moffat's expression clearly stated this is still water from the sky.  It is apparent that being wet is not his idea of fun. He does have quirks. He will not poop if being watched. He clicks his teeth when excited, but happy-snappy Mo never nips. He prefers to potty on the deck, but I don't have to push him out the door any longer. He sleeps on the couch at night and notifies me in the morning that he has 'got to go'. He has learned not to tangle his leash in my feet. He likes the garage and is not alarmed by the sound of power tools but will bark at the printer.  Tops on his Christmas list is a  home. I keep my fingers crossed that the perfect someone is reading this and thinks Moffat might be the perfect boy for their 'house'.

{Please keep in mind a dog is lifetime commitment.  They need attention, love and time just like we do.  In addition, adding a pet to the family does cost money in the way of food, health care, training,etc. So before adopting make sure you are willing to make that kind of commitment and have the resources to do so.}
