Holiday Plans

Well....as of now we have fun plans for the weekend.  I say as of now because with my life things seem to change quickly, and so if I'm looking forward to something I actually get a little nervous....nervous in the sense that I hope it actually happens.  Sometimes I won't even talk about my plans until they have happened. ha  Does anyone else ever feel that way?

Right down the street from me is a major golf tournament this weekend.  The AT&T National which is hosted my Tiger Woods.  Now you all know how I feel about him....definitely has never been a favorite of mine, and after what came out about him well lets just say I despise the guy.  You just don't do that to anyone you love, especially your children.  Interesting too, his golf game has really suffered this season and one has to wonder if that is lifes way of teaching him.  Who knows....

But I love golf and there will be plenty more golfers to watch who I happen to like!  Oh and did I mention a friend of mine from college got us free tickets....how awesome is that?  Honestly, could not have come at a better time.  Haven't seen this friend in years, and can't wait to finally get to chat in person.  Thanks Degs!  Oh and he care for Tiger either.

So we have that, and a family picnic.  And honestly I just want this picnic to happen.  All year long evertime we tried to make plans someone in the family would get sick.  I especially want to get to spend time with my niece who means the world to me, and who I don't get to see often enough.  I've been trying so hard to find a place closer to where they live but nothing has come to fruitation yet.

And on top of all that....they are forecasting that Philadelphia is about to be hit with another, much longer lasting heat waves.  Temps in the 100s with high humidity!  I like warm weather but that is way too hot for anyone.  So we need to find another a/c unit and quickly.  If only we could just find a townhome, near my sister with central air that would solve a lot of problems.  Ahhhh.....

So what are your plans for the holiday?  If you could do anything this weekend, what would it be?

Thanks for reading today.  Be safe and enjoy your weekend everyone!
